Sony Ericsson unveiled its first ever Android-based phone, the Xperia X10.
With the Xperia X10 Sony Ericsson also introduces its new UX platform that will evolve across the product portfolio and expand over time. The UX platform builds on top of the Open OS.
Available in Sensuous Black and Luster White, the phone weighs 135 grams and measures 119 x 63 x 13 mm.
The Xperia X10 is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor with Google Android Donut, version 1.6 OS.
It has an 8.1 megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom. The Xperia X10 features a 4" WVGA touchscreen (480x854 pixels). The phone has a 1GB built-in memory and comes with an 8GB microSD memory card.
It comes preloaded with multiple Google and Sony Ericsson apps. The Xperia X10 will be available in selected markets from the first quarter of 2010.
