Personal animosity was cited as the reason for the attack on TV artiste Dimple. She was ambushed by a woman at Manikonda today with an iron rod. The lady even smeared chilli powder on her face before leaving the scene. Dimple was immediately moved to the Apollo Hospital where her condition is said to be stable. Dimple is currently working in a TV serial named Thurpu Padamara being aired on ETV and was on her way to the shooting spot when the incident occurred.
